Lab Equipment Direct – Returns & Refunds Policy

Return Eligibility

You may return your item within 14 calendar days of the purchase date, subject to the following conditions:

a. Return Authorization Required

To initiate a return, please email us at support@labequipmentdirect.com or call (888) 702-1513 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA# will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at your expense.

b. Condition of Items

All items must be:

  • New, unused, and in original, resaleable condition
  • Returned in original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and any included software

Returns that show signs of wear, use, damage, or missing parts may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee.


Restocking Fees

  • Items returned in any packaging other than the original may incur a 25% restocking fee
  • Returns of 5 or more items may be subject to a bulk return restocking fee of up to 25%, reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Items marked “Ships From Manufacturer” are subject to a mandatory 25% restocking fee, regardless of condition

Manufacturer-Shipped Products

Items shipped directly from the manufacturer must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be returned within 14 days of purchase
  • Must be unused and in original condition with all original materials
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • Subject to inspection by the manufacturer; damaged or late returns may not be eligible for a refund

Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order is incomplete or missing items, contact us immediately at support@labequipmentdirect.com.
Please inspect your packaging thoroughly before reporting. Once confirmed, we will resolve the issue promptly.


Defective Items

If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately. We may request photos of the item and packaging. Once verified, we will provide replacement instructions. In some cases, you may be asked to return the defective item.


Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or sent in error. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.


Refund Process

  • Returns are typically processed within 5–7 business days after receipt
  • Refunds are issued to the original form of payment
  • Once processed, refunds generally appear on your account within 48 hours
